Day outing

We had an awesome BBQ today at Yatton park. We played some games and had some nice burgers cooked on the BBQ for lunch

Wilrose shared lunch

We had a shared lunch this week which was delicious. Ther were sausage rolls, pizza, cakes, scones and we had fruit sticks for afters. Delicious.

Drama production

This week we did our drama production and I played the part of the Gringe. It was good fun and I remembered all my lines.it was hard to keep an angry face because I like to smile a lot haha.

Music

I have set up and got the music playing through the amp. It puts out some really good sounds.

Awesome cafe

We had our 3 weekly cafe yesterday. The food was great and I had pikelets with jam and cream on them, a savoury and a hot drink. I really look forward to our Wilrose cafes.

Park outing

I have an injury to my leg so I am not playing sports at the moment. I still enjoy going to the park and relaxing anyway.

Soccer Game

We played soccer for a trophy against Greerton. They beat us and got to take the trophy back with them.

Cooking practice

I cooked a meal in my cooking class to practice for when I make it for my house. I did fettuccine and it tasted really good. The guys at the house should really like it.

Fishing Day

We went to the beach and tried out the new Kontiki. It was a bit of a trial this time to get used to the way it works and that is why we didn't catch any fish. We had a really good day and are going to do it lots more.

Sensory at Yatton Park

We went to Yatton Park for Sensory class. We looked at the different feels of trees and shapes and sizes of different plants. It was really interesting. Here is me and a few of the guys outside the park.

Mary Poppins show

We did the live performance of Mary Poppins last week at the theatre. Quite a few people came to watch it. We all had a good time.

Guys group outing

We went to Kulim Park for guys group and played a game called bat down. You hit tha ball and then put your bat on the ground. If the ball hits the bat it is their tiun to bat. Her is a picture of a few of us taking a break under a tree.

The cafe

The girl did a cafe for afternoon tea and we all got to buy a drink and food from them. It was really yummy.

My bowl's

I made couple of bowls at pottery for my flat. I am taking them home with me tonight.

My Drama class

Here are a couple of pictures we took this week of us rehearsing for our next production. We are doing Mary Poppins and I am the canon firer and do sound effects.

Birthday cake

It was Ani's birthday and she got a cake to share with us (yum). We sang happy birthday to her in Maori and then brought the carrot cake out. I wish we had more birthdays.

Getting ready for summer

We have been staining the benches so they look good in our garden. With summer coming soon we will be having some bbqs and want our outside furniture to look nice.

Here I am at KFC getting my burger. Mel promised me he would buy me a KFC burger if I was ready for the van in the mornings for two week. Guess what? I was. Really enjoyed my tower burger.

Getting prepared

In a couple of weeks we are having a sci fi disco here at Wilrose. I have brought thi mask to wear when we have it. Hope it is not to scary.

Have a good time sis

On Monday I went up to Auckland with my parents to see my sister off at the airport. She is flying out to Brasil for a few months doing some volunteer work over there. Will miss you heaps my sister.

The BBQ

Te puke and Greerton came down to Wilrose for a BBQ . We had meat patties and sausages with sauce. It was for the guys to meet each other from the different centres and have a chat. We played some music and Barney gave us a demo on the drum set we have here. The afternoon was good.

Outing to Bayfair

I went to JB HiFi at Bayfair this week and bought a Cd for my collection. Good to be able to do some shopping when I am on outings. matt was impressed.

Sports

We had a great day in the sun at the Tauranga domain on Monday. My favourite part was hanging with Dillon giving David and his short shorts a hard time. Those legs need to see some more sun.lol
