iSing Xmas & Kapa Haka Perfomance

I enjoyed watching and cheering my friends who participated in the iSing Xmas & Kapa Haka Performance. Then we indulged in some YUMMY KFC lunch, topped off with fresh fruit & ice cream. It was a lovely day celebrating.

 

Maxwells Beach

It was a very hot day today, I enjoyed putting  my legs in the water to cool off, it was so nice & refreshing.

 

Anzac Park + Christmas Quiz

I had a really neat morning at Anzac Park, the Christmas & Paris themed quizzes was fun, and I answered a lot of the questions, Then we kicked back listening to music and socialising.

 

Project Papatuanuku

The weather was lovely today, I helped the guys in Project Papatuanuku to clean up the gardens & check on the tomato plants we planted two weeks ago. 

 

Fernland Spa

It was a lovely morning soaking in the heated pools at Fernland spa, relaxing and socialising. The weather was perfect and the company was great!!

 

Ferguson Park

I had a nice  chill morning at Fergusson Park hanging with friend's while listening to music.

 

Sonic Cinema

     I enjoyed watching the movie "The Bad Guy" at Sonic Cinema with my friends, while indulging nice popcorn and a cold juice.

Sailing

I enjoy sailing days at Sulphur Point, I like looking along the shoreline and seeing the Mount,Tauranga views from the middle of the Harbour.

 

Olympic day

I had a great time at our Olympic day. There were lots of cool activitieslike egg and spoon race, obstacle course, sac race and gumboot throwing.

 

Purchasing supplies

It was a nice day to go shopping for supplies, I scanned the bin to purchase for the Centre at Kmart.

 

Sulphur Point

 It was a nice day out on the water at Sailability, it was windy too which made out big boat skim across the water pretty fast, when we came to shore we enjoyed our lunch.

Historic Village

I had a lovely morning walking around the Historic Village, listening to the pitchpipe playboys Barbershop quartet, having a try of indian dosas freshly made as we watched, I enjoyed patting the lambs in their pen.

 

Nice soak at mount

I had a nice day soaking and chilling at the Mount Hotpools today with friends.

 

Sailability

Beautiful weather today for Sailability, the water was a little cold getting into the boat, but the sun was nice & warm. I also enjo having my lunch at Sulphur Point and watching the different boats coming in and out of the Harbour.

 

Socialising fun at Ila Park

 I had a nice morning at Ila Park, relaxing,  catching up with friends and having a go flying the kite, while listening to music of my choice.

Relaxing in hotpools

It was nice relaxing in the Oropi hotpools, the temperature was perfect, and socialized with friends.

 

Tye Park fun

I had a nice morning at Tye Park having fun and socialising with friends. The weather wasnt too bad, but it was still good to get out and about and enjoy the fresh air.

 

Sailability

 The day was perfect for Sailability today, the sea was flat and the sun was warm and I enjoyed a nice picnic lunch in the sunshine.

Community outing

We delivered some nice Banana Cakes to Under The Stars to help feed the homeless, it feels good to be part of something positive, then we stopped in at Anzac Park before we came back to the centre for lunch. 

 

Discovery 2-Project Papatuanuku

Had a nice morning at the Centre, We planted loads of vegetable seeds, like tomatos, beetroot,carrot,pumpkin,bok choi, parsnips,spinach, & radish, look forward to seeing them grow and get to sample some.

 

Greerton community outings

 This week my Discovery group visited op shops in Greerton and went to the Greerton library to listen to a woman called Margaret play the Harp, her music was very relaxing.

 

SULPHUR POINT

Had a nice day in Sailability today, cooked my BBQ steak to share with my friends. What a perfect day !!!

 

Classic flyers

Classic flyers was a hit today, I really enjoyed myself and meeting a Pilot then I had the opportunity to ride on a cool old Fire Truck.

 

Day of fun at the Mount

I walked around Mauao and enjoyed the scenery and the sunshine. We saw two seals baking in the sunshine too. Then we enjoyed a nice swim at the Mount Hotpools and a picnic lunch.

 

Palmers Garden

Had a nice stroll around Palmers Garden looking at all the different sculptures and plants. 

 

Sailability

Perfect weather for a sail today, lots of sunshine and the sea was calm.

 

Matariki sculpture trail

Had a fun day today in discovery; doing the Matariki Sculpture Trail; I enjoyed having to scan the QR codes and the sculpture appears 

 

Rainy day to Chill day

 Today we had a choice to play games or chill and watch a movie, I chose watching a movie, “men in black” with friends. The rain was so heavy I could hear it against the roofing iron!!!!

Anzac Park

Had fun socialising with friends at Anzac Park, lot of laughs to be had.

After reach media I like to treat myself to a lunch at the Citz club and see all my friends from Wilrose and the Connect 20 group.

Nice morning at the Mount Hotpools, chilling and relaxing in the nice warm pool

 

Anzac Park

Nice Friday morning spent atAnzac Park, chilled on the swing while listening to music, then I went for a walk on the field soaking up the sunshine.

 

One and a half acre wood

Had fun today at one and a half acre wood for the morning, seeing, feeding and holding all the different animals was nice.

 

Swimming in Greerton

Had a nice relaxing swim at Greerton Hotpools this morning, the water was a nice temperature.
