Games Day

I played Uno and other games on our Wilrose games day. there was Scrabble, Tumbling Monkeys, Wordsearches and more. 

Cutting and peeling

In cooking we practiced our peeling and cutting skills and safety making a fruit salad. I liked the passion fruit pulp on top. 

Stir fry

We made beef stir fry in cooking. It tasted delicious it would be an easy meal to make at home one night!

Fishing at Omokoroa

I went fishing with the Discovery  group at Omokoroa. We didn’t catch any fish but I had a good time anyway.

Chilling out

I enjoyed kicking back listening to my mate read a book he made during lockdown of all the things he got up too. Then we all watched the cool photos of the people that went on the Australia trip. It bought back lots of memories from when I went to the Gold Coast!

Music quiz

I had a great day at the Wilrose Quiz - we had four rounds in the morning then enjoyed some pumpkin soup for lunch with bread. In the afternoon was the music quiz that I helped to run as part of my goal.

Planning my quiz day

It’s great to be back at the centre after being away for so long. This week I’m planning my Music quiz questions  for our big quiz day. Everyone is looking forward to it!
