Pirate party

 I enjoyed having a pirate themed day at the centre. Some people dressed up like pirates. I played a pirate games with my friends and tried some guacamole with corn chips. 

Birthday celebrations

 This week at the centre we celebrated my birthday. I’m the big 3 0 this year! I enjoyed my red velvet cupcake and my day at the centre with my friends. 

Lovely day for a walk

 I am in a walking group at Wilrose and a walking group outside of Wilrose too. This week with the Wilrose Group we did a giant walk around Memorial Park. 

Gardening

 I helped out to clean up the garden at the centre. It looked a lot better once we were finished. The. We went for a walk to explore kopurererua stream. It was good getting out with my friends. 

I Walk and Sports Group

 The sun is out and we are making the most of getting outside. I am doing really well in my I Walk walking group, we time our walks and write down the distance to try beat next week. This week in Sports group we went to Greerton Marist to play some basketball and we saw a rugby team in training. 

Van washing

 I helped out in a team to wash and clean the silver van. It looked a lot nicer once we were all finished! 

Pétanque at Memorial Park

 Sports group went to Memorial Park to play Pétanque. We had a few games and I won one of them. We made it back to the centre just before it started raining. Good timing!
