Ticking off another goal.

I completed my goal of making and serving a meal and cleaning up afterwards. I helped to make pumpkin soup and pumpkin pie with cream for dessert and helped do all the dishes once everyone was done.

I helped to make our target board for our Highland games that are coming up. Check it out!

Katikati museum

I enjoyed going to Katikati museum. I like making cream into butter by churning it. We put it on some scones that we made on an old hot plate, they were tasty. 

Disco

It was disco week in music - everyone sang songs from the seventies but I brought it back to modern day with a daft punk song.

Songs from the Musicals

In music, singing and dance this week we sang songs from the Musicals. I sang the Bear Neccessities from the Jungle Book and also an Elton John song from The Lion King.

Tree-ty

In the Advocate meeting this week we talked about making a Tree- ty. Using our hand art to look like leaves of a tree and making an agreement with everyone on how we should act towards each other . 

Hangi

I enjoyed getting to try some hangi food made here at the centre. Some people from the other centres came to try it too.
